Situated in the natural amphitheatre of the Dee Valley, Llangollen is a place where music and the arts are cultivated. And in the heart of Llangollen, on Parade Street, you will find us!

A little bit about us...

Llangollen Silver Band was established in 1904 and our headquarters are the Band Room on Parade Street, right in the heart of Llangollen town centre.

The Band consists of over 40 amateur musicians from Llangollen and its surrounding areas. We grow from strength to strength and now also boast a Training Band up to a further 20 players.

You will regularly find us taking part in the festivals and organised attractions that this internationally famous town hosts, and the Band is very busy throughout the year. Whether it be marching in the Opening Parade for the International Eisteddfod, taking part in Remembrance Sunday, playing at the Christmas Fair, or playing in the Riverside Bandstand on a summers Sunday afternoon, we are always well supported in our efforts by the local community and visitors alike.
